Interact with facility and major business clients to identify their requirements, define project scope, and prepare project proposals. Prepare to build low-voltage engineering designs for Structured Cabling, Access Control Systems, CCTV, Voice and data systems, communications room layout, and building infrastructure for low-voltage systems. Provide support during construction phases and be a quick thinker to solve potential issues and obstacles in the field.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ol></ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Use client directives and site-specific design criteria and apply engineering principles and skills to prepare the design of low-voltage and telecommunications systems, equipment, components, and products for commercial and industrial purposes and assist in developing bid and contract documents.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span>Design and produce plans and documents, including voice, data, structured cabling (horizontal and vertical), audio-visual, security, access control, intrusion detection, and other low-voltage systems, including inside and outside the plant.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span>Coordinate system scope, design layout, and drawings with clients and other disciplines. </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span>Perform telecommunications and low-voltage systems analysis and develop appropriate system concepts, layouts, and details. </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span>Oversee projects from inception through final transition and coordinate with senior management, clients, and subcontractors, ensuring the schedules are met and resources remain in check. </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span>Prepare technical specifications. </span></span></li>\n<li><span>Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, EIA, TIA, industry standards, and other applicable codes related to the design and layout of low voltage and telecommunications systems.</span></li>\n<li><span>This position may also entail working with engineers preparing schedules, budgets, and status reports.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span>Prepare layout prints for supervisor or client</span></span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Job Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span> Minimum qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>3-6+ years of related electrical and communications design/engineering experience on commercial and industrial multi-use buildings.</span></li>\n<li><span>Recent experience working for a consulting engineer or engineer/architectural firm designing Low Voltage systems for facilities/buildings.</span></li>\n<li><span>Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD design software, and ability to do own design engineering work.</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience with existing building renovations and tenant improvements.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to solve complex design problems.</span></li>\n<li><span>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work in a collaborative team environment.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task, and engage with multi-discipline project teams in meeting client needs in a timely manner and within budget objectives. </span></li>\n<li><span>Strong organizational skills, creativity, and enthusiasm.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span>Proficiency with Microsoft Office </span></a><span>(Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).</span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>RCDD Preferred; OSP and NTS a plus </span></li>\n<li><span>Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) Member desired </span></li>\n<li><span>Design-build experience is a plus</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
