All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.</p>\n<h2>Duties, Responsibilities & Other</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities*:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This position is for an Class A CDL Driver with general construction experience.</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate and maintain CDL A vehicle and trailer combination.</li>\n <li>Perform routine maintenance and daily pre and post trip inspections.</li>\n <li>Perform various physical duties as instructed by foreman to complete construction tasks; dig test pits, hand dig trench, etc..</li>\n <li>Identify potential safety hazards. Create a corrective action plan when safety hazards are recognized.</li>\n <li>Must have mechanical aptitude.</li>\n <li>Experience placing underground cable a plus.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Must be willing to work evenings/weekends when required. Travel for overnight and extended stay projects are possible and should be expected. </em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>* Essential Duties and Responsibilities are the basic job functions that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.</em></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED. </li>\n <li>Minimum 4 years of experience.</li>\n <li>A valid current driver’s license is required.\n  <ul>\n   <li>Clean driving record as an outcome of a pre-employment motor vehicle records search.  </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>A valid current CDL A driver’s license and DOT card is required.</li>\n <li>Background checks may be required based upon position.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment. Motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.</p>",
