Here, you will work with a team of designers in creating digital products and experiences for the Digitization and Advanced Analytics team. The responsibilities for this impactful role include:</p><p></p><p></p><ul><li>Working within a cross-functional, international team focusing on creating and improving digital supply chain and manufacturing analytics tools used to drive corporate supply chain strategy.</li><li>Pioneering new and innovative research methodologies, to enable novel and user-centered, reporting and data visualization for manufacturing and supply chain stakeholders and/or business leaders.</li><li>Creating design research strategy and proposals based on business needs and gaps in research.</li><li>Employing a wide range of research methods, including generative design research and contextual inquiry, participatory design workshops, interviews, usability studies, and surveys.</li><li>Synthesize data from many sources to identify key strategic product and service opportunities, create UX vision and strategic roadmaps that aligns with the overall business goals and objectives for new 3M innovation within.</li><li>Creating thorough interview discussion guides and usability test guides.</li><li>Conducting interviews and usability tests remotely and in-person, either for groups or one-on-one.</li><li>Collaborating and supporting other design activities like product strategy, conceptualization, Design System, UX/UI design etc. to craft human-centered solutions that drive better outcomes.</li><li>Design Research strategy and proposals, extending beyond user research</li><li>Identification of strategic product and service opportunities</li><li>Defining and aligning teams toward a future state vision, developing roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, and scoping</li><li>Establishing guiding principles to orient product and team efforts</li><li>Foundational design research and insight generation for strategic decision-making</li><li>Conducting research for strategy formation</li><li>Applying systems-thinking in complex problem spaces</li><li>Using strategic models and tools to support decision-making</li><li>Designing and facilitating alignment-driving workshops and engagements</li><li>Drive exploration to understand emerging opportunities and bringing clarity to ambiguous spaces for the team.</li></ul><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p>Learn more about 3M’s creative solutions to the world’s problems at www.3M.com or on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn @3M.<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p>Safety is a core value at 3M.
