Must possess a certification in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and/or Radiation Therapy and must be cross-training in CT or possess the CT certification</span><span style=\"background-color:rgba(251,249,248,1);color:rgba(22,21,19,1);\">. Assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the imaging equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images. Integrates scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information.</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h3 style=\"font-size:14px;margin:6px 0;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h3><p style=\"font-size:12px;margin:4px 0;\"><strong>Education:</strong></p><p><span style=\"background-color:rgba(251,249,248,1);color:rgba(22,21,19,1);\">Graduate from an accredited Radiology program.</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"font-size:12px;margin:4px 0;\"><strong>Experience:</strong></p><p><span style=\"background-color:rgba(251,249,248,1);color:rgba(22,21,19,1);\">2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology preferred. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.&nbsp;</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"font-size:12px;margin:4px 0;\"><strong>Licensure:</strong></p><p>Must possess a certification in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and/or Radiation Therapy (ARRT and/or NMTCB) and either be cross-training in CT or possess the CT certification. <span style=\"background-color:rgba(251,249,248,1);color:rgba(22,21,19,1);\">Registry eligible technologists must successfully complete the ARRT CT certification exam within 1 year of hire.</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"font-size:12px;margin:4px 0;\"><strong>Additional Skills/Requirements Required:</strong></p><p><span style=\"background-color:rgba(251,249,248,1);color:rgba(22,21,19,1);\">Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories. Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills, capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms, working knowledge of various types of x-ray equipment, able to adapt to various situations and procedures.
