Accurately and consistently complete repetitive tasks. </li>\n <li>Work effectively as a team member, work with little supervision, help when and where needed, make suggestions for process and product improvement, communicate effectively with team members. Follow company guidelines. </li>\n <li>Willing to work in any manufacturing department through flexibility. </li>\n <li>Perform other duties as needed to meet customer expectations. </li>\n <li>Program metal fabrication machines through automated computer equipment. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>To be considered for Metal Machine Operator – Day Shift, we require the following:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED required.  </li>\n <li>Current or previous successful metal machine operation experience preferred.  </li>\n <li>Good communication skills.   </li>\n <li>Ability to learn quickly. </li>\n <li>Ability to successfully participate as a member of a team. </li>\n <li>Ability to work with minimum supervision. </li>\n <li>Regularly and reliably work the scheduled hours. Ability to work overtime when workload requires. </li>\n <li>Wear all proper protective equipment as required in work area in accordance with Daktronics Safety Policy and OSHA standards. Items may include safety glasses, safety shoes/boots, hearing protection, and electrostatic discharge wear. </li>\n <li>Physical requirements include the ability to: \n  <ul>\n   <li>Distinguish and identify color. </li>\n   <li>Read fine print. </li>\n   <li>Work with odors (solder, paint, solvent, or general manufacturing odor). </li>\n   <li>Lift and carry heavy (up to 50 lbs.) and/or awkward items. </li>\n   <li>Stand or sit for the full shift. </li>\n   <li>Have full range of motion (including but not limited to bending and lifting) required to perform the job function. </li>\n   <li>Maintain steady hand-eye coordination. </li>\n   <li>Reach in all directions and in potentially awkward positions. </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>The selected individual must be able to travel by air and ground and comply with the Daktronics Driver Eligibility Policy to begin and maintain employment.
