This designation reflects the company’s commitment to hiring and supporting active-duty and veteran employees.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Provide Quality Control (QC) support on a wide variety of IT systems, to include p</strong><strong>remises wiring; i</strong><strong>nside plant (ISP) infrastructure, telecommunications rooms/areas and associated infrastructure; and o</strong><strong>utside cable plant (OSP) infrastructure. This is for Inside and Outside Plant with experience with TIA and ANSI standards.</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performing walkthroughs/inspections.</li>\n <li>Reviewing and validating installation procedures.</li>\n <li>Maintaining QC checklists and logs.</li>\n <li>Witnessing IT testing.</li>\n <li>Witnessing critical aspects (i.e. concrete encasement, mandrelling, etc.) of outside plant construction.</li>\n <li>Performing checkpoint reviews and filing reports.<strong></strong></li>\n <li>Attending project briefings.</li>\n <li>Provides installation and operational support of voice and data communications hardware and software systems.</li>\n <li> Designs, develops, implements, tests, debugs, and maintains communications systems.</li>\n <li> Performs configuration of operating system and security patches for host and distributed systems, and implements incident response procedures during incidents of anetwork or host security breach.</li>\n <li> Complies with prescribed customer, industry, and agency standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline and 0-5 years of experience, <strong>or</strong></li>\n <li>Associate's degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline<strong> and</strong> 7+ years of experience.</li>\n <li>SECRET security clearance</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education and Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Up to five (5) years experience in IT installation and testing</li>\n <li>Experience with optical fiber and copper cable testing.</li>\n <li>Experience with grounding, bonding, and shielding.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with ANSI/TIA standards.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with military IT/construction projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Standing for long periods.</li>\n <li>Ambulate throughout a building.</li>\n <li>Ambulate between several buildings.</li>\n <li>Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Empower AI</h2>\n<p>All hiring and promotion decisions at Empower AI are based on merit to bring the best talent available to contribute to our firm’s overall success.
