Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately and paid pursuant to the relevant program schedule. All employment offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides ongoing preventative maintenance for the facility, building, building systems, fire/safety equipment and medical equipment</li>\n <li>Performs all necessary repairs and maintains accurate records and logs and produces required reports</li>\n <li>Assures compliance with State and Federal Regulatory codes</li>\n <li>Abides by the standards identified in FutureCare’s Statement of Corporate Ethics and the Corporate Compliance Plan</li>\n <li>Maintains clean, safe working environment at all times of the maintenance workshop</li>\n <li>Reads and logs refrigerator temperatures daily</li>\n <li>Tests and logs water temperatures daily</li>\n <li>Observes budgetary guidelines regarding supplies and service and follows proper procedures relating to FutureCare’s purchase order system</li>\n <li>Adheres to facility policies and procedures</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred</li>\n <li>At least 2 years’ experience working in a building maintenance capacity highly preferred</li>\n <li>Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility environment a plus</li>\n <li>Ability to read, write and understand the English language  </li>\n <li>Must have a polite and courteous demeanor towards residents and staff members</li>\n <li>Ability to multi-task and work a flexible shift highly desirable</li>\n <li>Ability to meet physical demands with standing, bending, stooping, walking, and lifting at least 50 pounds </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Equal Opportunity Employer </p>\n<p>FutureCare has a longstanding policy of providing a work environment that respects the dignity and worth of each individual and is free from all forms of employment discrimination, including harassment, because of race, color, sex, gender, pregnancy, age, religion, national origin, citizenship, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, physical or mental disability, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
