Description
Position Overview:
Graber Post Buildings is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our new building material manufacturing facility in Ashley, IN. An individual in this role is responsible for maintenance , diagnos tics , and repair of specialized manufacturing machinery as well as ge neral facility maintenance . Applicants must be available to travel to Montgomery, Indiana for training at our company headquarters. Competitive pay starting at $35+ an hour based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Ensur e building and machinery systems are operating correctly and efficiently.
Complete preventive maintenance on a regular basis.
Identify and repair mechanical , electrical, and structural issues on buildings and machinery.
Weld for steel fabrication , modification, and repairs.
Read blueprints and complex diagrams for unique machinery.
W rite detailed reports on maintenance related tasks.
Communicate effectively with manufacturers , vendors, customers, and management .
Us e creative thinking to solve frust rating situations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills .
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines .
Minimum 3 + years of maintenance experience.
Working knowledge of three phase electrical systems .
Must be able to weld or be willing to learn how to weld.
Experience with r oll forming, t rim b reak, and o verhead c rane experience is a plus .
General facility maintenance experience is a plus .
Must be willing to travel to Montgomery , Indiana for training.
