You'll work across teams to deliver robust telemetry, enhance reliability, and enable data‑driven operational excellence.&nbsp;<br><br><strong>You will:</strong></p><ul><li>Build scalable telemetry pipelines using technologies such as <strong>OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Jaeger, Tempo</strong>, or similar.</li><li>Develop instrumentation libraries, SDKs, agents, and exporters for distributed services.</li><li>Optimize ingestion, storage, and query performance for high‑volume telemetry data.</li><li><p>Partner with engineering and SRE teams to define and measure <strong>SLIs/SLOs/SLAs</strong>.</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Automate deployments and configuration of observability systems</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li><li>Implement observability frameworks covering <strong>metrics, logs, traces, profiling, and events</strong>.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Take the first step towards your dream career</strong><br>Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:<br><br><strong>Essential Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>2–5 years of experience in a Software Engineering role</li><li>Strong programming skills in <strong>Python</strong></li><li>Experience with cloud‑native platforms (<strong>Kubernetes</strong>, containers, service mesh architectures)</li><li>Hands‑on expertise with modern observability stacks (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, New Relic, etc.).</li><li>Familiarity and understanding of distributed systems, telemetry data flows, and performance engineering</li><li>Experience building automation and CI/CD pipelines</li></ul><p><br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Desirable Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or related experience</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation: </strong>Dell is committed to Fair and Equitable compensation practices.
