À propos de l'opportunité
Le Directeur Financier (H/F) est le principal responsable des questions financières au sein de l’organisation. Il veille à préserver l’intégrité financière, à assurer la conformité vis-à-vis des bailleurs et à renforcer la capacité d’impact sur la mission grâce à une stratégie financière solide et à une gestion responsable. En tant que membre clé de l’équipe de direction supérieure, le Directeur Financier (H/F) collabore avec le Directeur Général du Global Management Group (GMG) et le conseil d’administration (notamment le Comité des finances ainsi que le Comité d’audit et des risques) afin de soutenir la durabilité à long terme, de gérer les risques et de garantir une utilisation transparente et éthique des fonds.
Vous serez chargé de diriger la conception et la mise en œuvre des politiques financières et de développement commercial, tout en supervisant l’ensemble de la gestion financière, de la planification et du contrôle jusqu’à la conformité réglementaire, au sein des opérations du siège et des activités multinationales.
Vos responsabilités
Élaborer et mettre en œuvre une stratégie financière, en conseillant la Directrice Générale, l’éuipe de direction et le conseil d’administration sur la performance, la durabilité et la planification à long terme.
Piloter la budgétisation pluriannuelle, la planification de scénarios, la politique de réserves et l’analyse financière à travers plusieurs entités et programmes pays.
Assurer la planification de scénarios principaux, la budgétisation pluriannuelle pour les entités américaines, françaises et britanniques ainsi que pour les pays d’opération, définir les stratégies d’efficacité des coûts et de rapport qualité-prix, et établir les politiques de réserves.
Superviser les opérations financières, notamment la comptabilité, la trésorerie, le reporting, l’intégration des systèmes et l’élaboration des politiques, afin de garantir la précision, l’efficacité et des contrôles internes solides.
Superviser la comptabilité, la trésorerie, le budget et les rapports financiers au siège et dans l’ensemble des bureaux nationaux ; veiller à l’exactitude des comptes de gestion mensuels et des états financiers consolidés.
Assurer la conformité vis-à-vis des bailleurs et une gestion financière de haute qualité des subventions, incluant la budgétisation, les rapports, les audits et la diligence raisonnable des partenaires.
V eiller au respect des règles et réglementations des bailleurs (par exemple : ECHO, EU, USG, FCDO, agences de l’ONU, fondations).
Gérer les risques financiers, tenir à jour le registre des risques financiers et garantir la conformité aux exigences fiscales, légales et réglementaires selon les juridictions.
Apporter un soutien à la gouvernance par le biais de rapports au conseil d’administration, d’audits statutaires et d’échanges stratégiques avec les auditeurs et conseillers financiers.
Construire et diriger une équipe financière performante, tout en renforçant la littératie financière, la collaboration interfonctionnelle et une culture de responsabilité et de prise de décision fondée sur les données.
À propos de vous
Diplôme de niveau avancé en finance, comptabilité, administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe.
Une qualification professionnelle reconnue en comptabilité (par exemple : ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CIPFA) est préférée.
Plus de 10 ans d’expérience en direction financière senior, idéalement au sein d’ONG ou dans le développement international, avec des opérations multinationales et des portefeuilles de financement diversifiés.
Solide expérience en comptabilité de gestion, incluant l’analyse pour la prise de décision, la planification de scénarios, la prévision et la budgétisation.
Succès démontré dans la gestion de la fonction finance (comptabilité, budgétisation, contrôle, reporting) dans un contexte de complexité transfrontalière.
Expérience dans la mise en œuvre de systèmes financiers/ERP et dans l’amélioration des processus.
Connaissance approfondie des exigences de conformité des bailleurs et des processus d’audit.
Solides compétences analytiques ; à l’aise avec les indicateurs financiers et les indicateurs associatifs.
Capacité à traduire des informations financières complexes pour des publics variés, notamment à travers l’utilisation de la visualisation de données.
Connaissance des méthodologies de récupération des coûts complets.
Excellent niveau d’anglais, à l’écrit comme à l’oral ; communicateur efficace auprès de parties prenantes seniors (direction, conseil d’administration, principaux financeurs).
Solides compétences dans l’utilisation des systèmes informatiques financiers et maîtrise avancée d’Excel, avec une bonne maîtrise de Word et PowerPoint.
Intégrité, orientation vers les résultats, mentalité d’amélioration continue et style collaboratif et orienté service.
Capacité à diriger et à inspirer des équipes dans des environnements multiculturels et à travers différents fuseaux horaires.
Une expérience de travail avec ou au sein de conseils d’administration d’associations (par exemple : France, association caritative britannique ou organisation américaine 501(c)(3)) est souhaitée.
Une expérience de leadership en gestion du changement serait un atout.
Une expérience de vie ou de travail dans des contextes en développement est souhaitée.
Connaissance de la France, de la UK Charity Commission et des rapports de Companies House ; une connaissance des exigences américaines 501(c)(3) serait un atout.

About the Opportunity
The Global Finance Director (GFD) is the organization’s senior financial leader, responsible for safeguarding financial integrity , ensuring donor compliance , and enabling mission impact through strong financial strategy and stewardship. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the GFD partners with the Chief Executive, Global Management Group (GMG), and Board (including the Finance Committee, Audit & Risk Committee) to guide long- term sustainability , manage risk , and ensure transparent, ethical use of funds .
You will lead the design and implementation of financial and business development policies and oversees financial management from planning and control through to regulatory compliance—across HQ and multi- country operations.
Your Responsibilities
This role includes the following responsibilities .
Shape and execute a global financial strategy , advising the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, and Board on performance, sustainability, and long- term planning.
Lead multi year budgeting , scenario planning, reserves policy, and financial analysis across multiple entities and country programs.
Lead scenario planning , multiyear budgeting for US, France and UK entities and country of operations , cost efficiency and value for money strategies and define reserves policies
Oversee global financial operations —including accounting, treasury, reporting, systems integration, and policy development—to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and strong internal controls.
Oversee accounting, treasury, budgeting, and financial reporting across HQ and all country offices; ensure timely , accurate
monthly management accounts and consolidated financials.
Ensure donor compliance and high- quality grant financial management , including budgeting, reporting, audits, and partner due diligence.
Ensure compliance with donor rules and regulations (e.g., ECHO, EU , USG, FCDO, UN agencies, foundations ).
Manag e financial risk , maintain the financial risk register, and ensure compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions .
Provide governance support through Board reporting, statutory audits, and strategic engagement with auditors and financial advisors.
Build and lead a high performing global finance team while strengthening financial literacy, cross- functional collaboration, and a culture of accountability and data- driven decision making.
About You
You will bring the following experience and skills.
Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration , or related field.
Recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CIPFA ) is preferred.
10+ years of senior financial leadership, ideally in INGOs/international development with multi- country operations and diverse funding portfolios.
Strong management accounting experience, including decision support analyses, scenario planning , forecasting, and budgeting.
Demonstrable success in leading the finance function (accounting, budgeting, control, reporting) with cross- border complexity.
Experience implementing finance/ERP systems and driving process improvements.
In- depth knowledge of donor compliance frameworks and audit processes.
Strong analytical skills ; comfortable with financial KPIs and non- profit metrics.
Ability to translate complex financial information for diverse audiences , including use of data visualization .
Knowledge of full cost recovery methodologies.
Excellent written and spoken English ; effective communicator with senior stakeholders (SLT, Board, major funders).
Strong skills in financial IT systems and advanced Excel , with proficiency in Word and PowerPoint .
Integrity, results orientation, continuous improvement mindset, and a collaborative, service oriented style.
Experience working with or on non- profit boards (e.g., France, UK charity/US 501(c)(3)) desirable.
Change management leadership experience would be an advantage.
Knowledge of France, UK Charity Commission and Companies House reporting; familiarity with US 501(c)(3) requirements would be a bonus .
