    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>This role supports and strengthens the Quality Management System (QMS), leads structured root cause investigations, monitors and analyzes key quality performance metrics, and drives corrective and preventive actions.</p>\n<p>The Quality Engineer partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and customers to improve process capability, reduce nonconformances, and promote a culture of quality and operational excellence.</p>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, ASTM, and customer-specific standards.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain quality documentation including procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, and forms.</li>\n <li>Conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA/DFMEA), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and Process Capability Studies.</li>\n <li>Manage calibration and gauge R&amp;R programs for monitoring and measuring equipment.</li>\n <li>Lead internal audits, process audits, and support third-party or customer audits.</li>\n <li>Analyze quality data, perform trend analysis on NCRs and CPARs, and report on metrics such as scrap, rework, and customer escapes.</li>\n <li>Investigate product and process nonconformities, issue corrective and preventive actions, and validate effectiveness.</li>\n <li>Develop inspection methods for receiving, in-process, and final product checks.</li>\n <li>Support training initiatives, maintain training records, and uphold training matrix accuracy.</li>\n <li>Participate in Management of Change (MOC) and Risk Assessment activities.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with operations, engineering, and suppliers for continuous improvement and cost reduction.</li>\n <li>Assist with annual Management Reviews and strategic quality planning.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Up to 10% domestic travel may be required for audits, inspections, or training.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and be physically present in manufacturing areas for extended periods.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of QMS principles, ISO 9001:2015, and API Q1 standards.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC), Statistical Quality Control (SQC), and quality tools.</li>\n <li>Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications with tight tolerances.</li>\n <li>Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of inspection techniques and process control strategies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.</li>\n <li>A minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Engineering is strongly preferred</li>\n <li>Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required; Previous experience with Fiberglass is highly preferred.</li>\n <li>A minimum of 3 years of experience with quality management systems.</li>\n <li>Previous experience with ISO 9001:2015, and/ or API Q1 standards is highly preferred</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Teams, Excel, Word, etc. is strongly preferred&nbsp;</li>\n <li>ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Learn more about us at our&nbsp;<a href=\"https://www.nov.com/about/our-business-units/fiber-glass-systems\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Fiber Glass Systems Webpage</a></p>\n<p>For more specifics about our competitive benefits please visit&nbsp;<a href=\"https://usbenefits.nov.com/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">https://usbenefits.nov.com/</a></p>",
