Communicate forecast estimations, assumptions, and key changes effectively to leadership and stakeholders, enabling alignment with business strategies and financial plans. Monitor, analyze, and report significant changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies, ensuring timely visibility and proactive response. Conduct monthly forecast maintenance, address demand-related issues promptly, and interpret and improve key performance indicators to drive sustained forecasting excellence. Responsibilities To be successful in this role you will need the following: Collaborative, trust-centered leadership:  Build partnerships across Planning, Inventory, Operations, Sales/Finance, and Suppliers; value diverse perspectives; drive engagement and hold self/others accountable to commitments while communicating clearly to varied audiences. Advanced planning systems & analytics fluency:  Expertly leverage the materials planning system as your primary tool; use APC/APS, BI dashboards, and ad‑hoc tools (Excel/Access/SQL/OMS) to extract, transform, model, and visualize data for root-cause analysis and decision support. KPI-driven decision making:  Interpret and balance materials and demand KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy/bias, MAPE, OTIF, DOH, inventory turns, service levels); assess gaps vs. targets, understand end-customer impact, and optimize trade-offs without degrading adjacent metrics. End-to-end planning mastery under complexity:  Synthesize industry trends, demand signals, and consensus inputs to create a stable network master supply plan aligned to the demand plan; proactively manage risks/constraints, maintain monthly forecasts, and continuously improve processes for accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications Education/Experience: College, university, or equivalent degree required. Business Degree in Marketing, Economics, Supply Chain, or Finance is preferred. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Minimal to intermediate level of experience required.  Location: US-based, Columbus, IN preferred; Charleston, SC is optional. Skills: Data analysis, basic Excel capabilities (pivot tables, lookups, etc), comfortable with presenting to manager and director-level stakeholders. PowerBI / PowerQuery experience is a bonus but not required for the role. Additional Details: Lead monthly translation of EBU and Daimler turbos forecast to Fuel Systems, Electronics, and Valvetrain product lines to bring an aligned forecast across Cummins Components and Software (CCS). Responsible for related AOP and Simulation forecasts for both product lines. Represent EBU Account Team in monthly Valvetrain Production, Sales, and Inventory (PSI) meetings  Support global data cleansing activities across all product lines ahead of Project Horizon launch in mid-2027. Lead project to support data export process to bring all existing turbo opportunities into Salesforce - will require data comparison, working with IT, data audits, and reviews with account managers to ensure data accuracy after migration.  Stretch goal - Lead forecasting work for EBU OES Fuel Systems and Electronics. Note : While this role is aligned to a Supply Chain GPP, it rolls up into the Sales Function within our business. The primary stakeholders for this role will be within the account team; however, this role will require significant collaboration with Supply Chain, IT, and Finance as well. Note that the GPP requirement related to the use of the Materials Planning System (MPS) is not relevant to this role. Compensation Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range.
