This role ensures products are manufactured to exact specifications while complying with quality standards, GMP, and regulatory requirements.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><div style=\"margin-left:.4in;\"><ol start=\"2\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left:.4in;\"><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES</strong><ol start=\"2\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li>Set up and operate OmniTurn CNC machines to manufacture precision medical device components.</li><li>Perform tip forming operations on tubing and small medical parts to meet dimensional and cosmetic specifications.</li><li>Conduct TIG welding on medical-grade materials (e.g., stainless steel, nitinol, or other alloys) following validated procedures.</li><li>Perform boring operations to achieve precise internal diameters and tight tolerances.</li><li>Load and unload parts, adjust machine parameters, and monitor production cycles.</li><li>Inspect parts using visual inspection, pin gauges, ball gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.</li><li>Verify parts meet engineering drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications.</li><li>Document inspection results and production data per quality system requirements.</li><li>Identify nonconforming products and report issues to Quality or Engineering.&nbsp;</li><li>All other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ol></li></ol></div><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><div style=\"margin-left:.4in;\"><ol start=\"3\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left:.4in;\"><strong>KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND COMPETENCIES</strong><ol start=\"3\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li>Experience operating OmniTurn CNC machines or similar Swiss/turning equipment.</li><li>Hands-on experience with tip forming, TIG welding, and boring operations.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.</li><li>Knowledge of precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.</li><li>Experience in medical device manufacturing preferred.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li></ol></li></ol></div><p style=\"margin-left:1.0in;\"><br></p><div style=\"margin-left:.4in;\"><ol start=\"4\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left:.4in;\"><strong>EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS</strong></li></ol></div><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;4.1</strong> High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or machine certification preferred</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;4.2</strong> Minimum of 2 years of experience operating and/or setting up centerless grinding machines (medical device or precision machining experience preferred)</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><strong>4.3</strong> Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred</p><div style=\"margin-left:.4in;\"><ol start=\"5\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left:.4in;\"><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></li></ol></div><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:.4in;\"><ol start=\"5\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;margin-left: 0.5in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:.4in;\">Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.</li><li style=\"margin-left:.4in;\">Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:.4in;\">Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.&nbsp;</li></ol></div></div></div>\n",
