    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong>IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Plan and perform a sequence of operations for inspection using all types of measuring apparatus such as micrometers, verniers, height and depth gages, sine plate, trammels, optical comparator, moly test kit, air gages, etc.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>&nbsp;Perform first piece, part, bench and periodic inspection as necessary within the limit of standard practice.&nbsp; Determine reasons for defects or malfunctions and effect of deviation on product requirements.</span></li><li><span>Makes dimensional, mechanical and visual inspection of assemblies, sub-assemblies, finished and semi-finished components and parts for size, correct material, finished appearance and other pertinent requirements.</span></li><li><span>&nbsp; Devise dimensional gaging set ups, do part layout inspection, make out report and rejection slips and record data to Crosby specifications.</span></li><li><span>Will qualify as Level II for liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, ultrasonic and PMI inspections and inspection operations to the requirements of Crosby’s qualification programs.</span></li><li><span>&nbsp; Perform PMI programming and maintenance and calibration of all precision tools, gages and equipment under calibration control.&nbsp; Ability to follow and implement special quality instructions and procedures.</span></li><li><span>Accompany customer inspectors visiting the plant for review of inspection requirements, pertinent records and testing of customer products.&nbsp; Refer all unusual or critical cases to supervisor for inspection.</span></li></ul><p><span><strong>WHO YOU ARE:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p>You are an experienced inspector who understands the importance of learning and following the guidelines required to produce quality work.</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span>&nbsp;<strong>FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">High School diploma, or equivalent</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">1-2 years working in a Quality Inspection role in a manufacturing environment</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Experience using a variety of measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, height and depth gages, moly test kit, etc..</p></li></ul><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span>Experience in training and/or execution of NDT including liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, ultrasonic and PMI inspections&nbsp;.</span></p></li></ul><p><strong>Our Location:</strong></p><p>Mansfield, Massachusetts, offers the charm of a suburban community with the convenience of a prime location in southeastern Massachusetts.
