\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nSummary\\r\\n\\r\\nPrices and cleans furniture items to achieve maximum value.&nbsp; Maintains and merchandises furniture, mattresses, and appliances on the sales floor.&nbsp; Reports to the assistant store manager or the store manager.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\\r\\n\\r\\n.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tSets department production targets weekly with assistant manager and is accountable for reaching those targets.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\tMaintains target price per item.\\r\\n\\t\\tUses price grid as a guideline. \\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tSupplies store with merchandise by testing (appliances), pricing items, and displaying donations on the sales floor.\\r\\n\\tKeeps the furniture area clean and stocked.\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\tCleans furniture area daily of dust, broken items, non-saleable and damaged goods.\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tProvides customers who are purchasing furniture with a written receipt for the cashier.\\r\\n\\tAssists customers with mattress inquires.\\r\\n\\tAccepts donations and provides donors with a receipt for tax purposes.\\r\\n\\tKeeps work area clean.\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\tAllows 10 minutes before quitting time for sweeping and cleaning up. \\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tPerforms other duties and special assignments as directed, including assignments, which may be outside the primary area of employment.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nQualifications\\r\\n\\r\\nKnowledge, Skill and Ability\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tAbility to recognize merchandise quality and price it competitively.\\r\\n\\tAbility to make decisions about merchandise quality, whether merchandise is saleable and when to reduce prices to sell merchandise.\\r\\n\\tAbility to interact effectively with customers.\\r\\n\\tAbility to write receipts.\\r\\n\\tAbility to observe the production process and to communicate with the supervisor and other team members to keep the production process moving.\\r\\n\\tAbility to present a positive Company image and be courteous to customers\\r\\n\\tAbility to work as a productive member of a team.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nEducation and/or Experience Required\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tExperience working with a diverse workforce. \\r\\n\\tAbility to work with individuals possessing developmental disabilities.\\r\\n\\tAbility to use good judgment.\\r\\n\\tEnergy to take on fast-paced work.\\r\\n\\tGood listener.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nPhysical Demands&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tWorks inside in a production and retail environment.\\r\\n\\tExposure to temperature fluctuations.\\r\\n\\tWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak, hear, stand and move throughout the store.\\r\\n\\tUse upper body strength to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.\\r\\n\\tUtilizes proper equipment.&nbsp; \\r\\n\\tWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to dust from donations.\\r\\n\\tWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly standing, bending, stooping and walking.\\r\\n\\tWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to lift the arms shoulder height or above. \\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.&nbsp;
