    "requisitionDescription": "<p id=\"isPasted\">The Enhanced Behavior Analyst develops and addresses goals and areas of client needs across the school and community environments for their assigned caseload of students with Severe and Dangerous Behavior. Behavior analysts utilize assessment to develop a treatment plan, programs, and interventions to promote positive behavior change. The behavior analyst monitors client progress ongoingly, modifying interventions when necessary, documenting all changes and client progress. In addition, the behavior analyst provides training and supervision to the necessary team members.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The Enhanced Behavior Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping a culture of excellence in both Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and clinical practice at The Vista School. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated professional who values collaboration, innovation, and continuous growth within the field of ABA. This role also offers opportunities for professional development through participation in grand round presentations, attendance at local and national conferences, and weekly supervision with the Senior BCBA.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Develops, implements, and monitors treatment plan goals, programs, and behavioral interventions across settings for a caseload of up to 5 students with severe and dangerous behavior. &nbsp;</li><li>Develops behavioral programming through the lens of a compassionate care model, with a focus on safety and teaching the prerequisite skills necessary to accessing least restrictive environments.</li><li>Completes functional assessment activities, as needed and assigned</li><li>Completes skills-based assessments, as needed and assigned</li><li>Develops safety and crisis plans to maintain the safety of clients and staff</li><li>Ability to demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, particularly in high-pressure or crisis situations. The ideal candidate will show a proactive approach in managing unexpected challenges and possess the ability to remain calm and composed under stress.</li><li>Monitors treatment fidelity ongoingly for all assigned clients</li><li>Conducts all interactions with clients and internal and external team members in a positive, professional, and caring manner</li><li>Collaborates and communicates regularly with internal and external team members, including families, BH-MCO care managers, primary care physicians, and case managers</li><li>Trains, monitors, and provides performance feedback to BHT, EBS, and CIS staff</li><li>Assesses and monitors BHT performance to standard expectations to inform training needs to further refine ABA understanding and use of tactics and principles</li><li>Addresses performance discrepancies through targeted training plans, ongoing measurement of staff performance and improvements, regular review of performance with staff, as well as providing updates and collaboration with HR&nbsp;</li><li>Provides training and feedback to all team members in a supportive and collaborative manner and receives and implements coaching from others to improve performance</li><li>Develops and provides training to Vista employees and stakeholders on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Spectrum Disorder</li><li>Leads treatment plan update meetings&nbsp;</li><li>Maintains and submits all required documentation by expected deadlines</li><li>Completes other duties as assigned&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>This position provides supervision to BHT, EBS, and CIS staff on clinical duties and job performance standards.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The following positions or frequent movements are typical of the job: sitting, walking, standing, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, stooping, kneeling, and crawling, often for extended periods of the workday. &nbsp;Assignment may require the ability to physically move clients during possible physical interventions in order to maintain a safe learning environment.&nbsp;</p><p>The position requires that an individual be able to learn new tasks quickly and effectively. Job requirements may change frequently. The ability to understand and carry out detailed, involved, instructions is mandatory. The incumbent must be able to travel to multiple locations as needed, when needed to conduct organizational business. Subject to inside environmental conditions.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>EXPECTED SCHEDULE</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>This is a full time 40 hour per week position. Days and hours of the workweek are agreed upon by management, the school, and EIBS calendar. &nbsp; Services may be provided across school and community settings.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in related service field required</li><li>Behavior Specialist Licensure required</li><li>1+ year certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst</li><li>Fluency in assent-based approaches to teaching communication (i.e., SBT)</li><li>Successful completion of Vista&rsquo;s crisis intervention curriculum required</li><li>Previous experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders required</li><li>Previous experience or knowledge delivering Applied Behavior Analysis programming and methodology required</li><li>High proficiency of Microsoft Office products and Internet applications required</li><li>Ability to implement, train, and coach other staff on the implementation of services and proper crisis prevention and intervention techniques required &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Current First Aid and CPR Training highly desired</li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills</li></ul>\n",
