Description Clean Harbors Fort McMurray AB is looking for a Licensed Heavy Duty Mobile Mechanic to join their safety conscious team! This position will be responsible for routine maintenance, inspections, and repairing of all company fleet at branch and client locations throughout the area. Why work for Clean Harbors? You'll be working 11.5 hours a day with O.T. paid at over 8 hours/day or over 44 hours/week. 14/14 commuter, or 7/7 local shifts are available (others may be negotiable depending on experience and accommodation). Turnaround travel allowance with camp provided, or Cost of living with travel allowance provided. Modern camp and accommodation provided with great amenities. Comprehensive health benefits coverage & healthcare spending account after 30 days of full-time employment. Group RRSP with company matching component after 90 days of full-time employment. Eligible to participate in the employee company stock purchase program. Discounts with a variety of Canadian manufacturers and service providers. Responsibilities Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner. Complete and follow requirements of Field Level Hazard and Job Hazard assessments. Perform thorough inspections of equipment and identify required repairs. Work independently on customer sites often. Perform routine and specific maintenance on company vehicles and equipment. Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs. Complete repair orders. Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment and light and heavy duty vehicles. Communicate equipment servicing needs as required with Supervisor. Complete warranty information. Disassemble, inspect, fit and replace worn or broken parts. Carry out housekeeping duties. Complete required documentation and daily samsara logs in an accurate and timely manner. Qualifications Qualifications Licensed/Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic. 3+ years’ experience working as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic. Previous experience working with Hydraulics is an asset. Previous experience working on Vacuum Trucks is an asset. Ability to use (J Pro) diagnostic software Class 5 Driver’s License required. 40-years of sustainability in action.
