You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p class=\"MsoListParagraph\" style=\"margin-left: 0.95pt;\"><strong>Job responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 0.95pt;\">&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems</li>\n <li>Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others</li>\n <li>Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems</li>\n <li>Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture</li>\n <li>Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies</li>\n <li>Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p class=\"MsoListParagraph\" style=\"margin-left: 0.95pt;\"><strong>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</strong></p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0in 0.95pt;\">&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years hands on Software Development Life Cycle experience</li>\n <li>Experience implementing solutions using Java, SQL, UI frameworks, Design patterns, microservices, Cloud native architecture, Angular/React, RESTful APIs for enterprise-scale applications.</li>\n <li>Experience with SQL performance tuning, JDBC, and ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA)</li>\n <li>Experience in various SQL and NoSQL datastores (Cassandra, Oracle, Mongo DB)</li>\n <li>Experience in AWS technology stack</li>\n <li>Deep knowledge in caching technologies such as Elasticsearch, Reddis and so on</li>\n <li>Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages</li>\n <li>Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security</li>\n <li>Proficiency in unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito for ensuring code quality.</li>\n <li>Deep knowledge of messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka</li>\n</ul>\n<div>\n &nbsp;\n</div>\n<div>\n <strong>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</strong>\n</div>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with DevOps practices, containerization and orchestration</li>\n <li>Exposure to AI systems such as Copilot, Claude</li>\n</ul>",
