Experience what’s next at Avnet!</p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p><b>Job Summary:</b></p><p>Ensures adherence to international standards, regulatory requirements, internal audit requirements and defined policies and procedures.</p><p><br /><b>Principal Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Maintains relationship with internal department representatives, customers, suppliers, and/or external certification/regulatory representatives.</p></li><li><p>Manages and implements programs to establish and maintain quality standards of existing products and services, as well as developing programs to focus employees on quality improvement.</p></li><li><p>Develops policies, procedures and methods to check product, material, components and/or operational quality and improve same.</p></li><li><p>Oversees the planning, facilitating and/or execution of internal, customer, supplier or certification audits.</p></li><li><p>Ensures corrective actions specific to non-conformance and audit results are appropriately robust and sustainable to maintain certifications.</p></li><li><p>Trains and mentors employees in continuous improvement techniques and the quality management system.</p></li><li><p>Other duties as assigned.</p></li></ul><p><br /><b>Job Level Specifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Manages experienced, professional employees and/or supervisors; and/or manages large, complex technical and/or business support teams. Accountable for the performance and results of a team and/or department.</p></li><li><p>Interprets and administers policies, processes and procedures that affect direct reports and the workflow of the team/department. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Contributes to budget development and performance standards of department and direct reports.</p></li><li><p>Assignments are defined in the form of objectives. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, business plans and independent judgment.</p></li><li><p>Collaborates with team(s), customers/ clients, functional peer group managers and occasionally senior management. Participates and presents at meetings with internal and external representatives.</p></li><li><p>Decisions may have impact on work processes and outcomes.
