Load, secure and deliver</p><p>flat-rolled coil steel materials in a safe, efficient, timely and professional manner.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties:</strong></p><ul><li data-pasted=\"true\">Drive Tractor Trailer to make steel deliveries as dispatched by LH Rome.</li><li>Conduct Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections.</li><li>Keep track of on-duty hours and driving hours by use of JJ Keller ELD System or manual log book.<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li><li>Position cargo to meet legal weight limits</li><li>Secure cargo by safest way possible in accordance with DOT guidelines.&nbsp;</li><li>Keep cargo protected from weather and damage by using tarp and chain protectors.&nbsp;</li><li>Keep paperwork organized and accurately turn in payroll.</li><li>Take truck to shop for regular maintenance or repairs as needed.</li><li>Document and report any incidents or accidents. Take pictures and remove debris if possible.</li><li>Wear all PPE as required where loading or unloading.</li><li>Be professional when dealing with the public and customers&nbsp;</li><li>Other duties as instructed by management</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Must have a current unrestricted Class A CDL License.</li><li>Driving Experience Recommended.</li><li>High School Diploma or GED.</li><li>Basic Computer Skills</li><li>While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and talk or hear.&nbsp;</li><li>The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds and to climb onto the bed and into the cab of the truck.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Home every night</li><li>Paid by the load ($800 - $1800 per week)</li><li>Medical, Dental and Vision coverage</li><li>401(k) plan including employer match</li><li>Paid holidays and vacation</li></ul><p><strong>Job Type: Full-time</strong></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p></div>\n",
