Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.<br>\n Essential Functions<br>\n Coordinates the development and evaluation of the organization's infection prevention and control strategies, policies, and planning.<br>\n Collects and performs statistical analysis, interpretation and dissemination of healthcare acquired infection data, including risk assessment, surveillance priorities, and outcomes analysis.<br>\n Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.<br>\n Monitors local, state and federal regulations and ensures compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies' standards and requirements.<br>\n Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
