Candidate will perform complex inspections of assemblies and finished product for Aviation, Defense, and Space designs.  Requires inspection using a microscope and some product bench testing.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform simple and complex measurements in accordance with company standards and procedures. </li>\n <li>Keep accurate records of inspections on product travelers and process logs.</li>\n <li>Perform First Article Inspections (FAI's).</li>\n <li>Guide new product through the Production Part Approval Process.</li>\n <li>Perform data entry and review Quality Inspection Plans for accuracy.</li>\n <li>Approve or reject based upon relevant standards.</li>\n <li>Perform visual inspection per customer / industry requirements.</li>\n <li>Review documentation produced by the Quality Control Inspection Team.</li>\n <li>Examine and audit records for accuracy to product specifications.</li>\n <li>Comply with all EH&S requirments for work areas, including but not limited to PPE requirements for individual work areas.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>U.S. Citizen or Permanent Residency required (Green Card Holder)</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required, college or technical coursework leading to a degree or certificate is perferred</li>\n <li>3-5 years manufacturing inspection experience (quality control) preferred (position may be filled at higher or lower grade level based on experience)</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and as a part of team</li>\n <li>Capable of reading blueprints</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of optical comparators</li>\n <li>Proficiency with using caliper, micrometer, drop indicator, gauges and other standard Quality measuring devices</li>\n <li>Strong basic arithmetic skills</li>\n <li>Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Standards (GD&T.)</li>\n <li>Must have strong basic computer skills.</li>\n <li>Experience with ISO9001, AS9100 or ISO13485 Quality Management Systems</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The salary range for this position is $19.28 - $21.82 per hour and represents the minimum and maximum for the position.  The actual range will vary based upon factors including but not limited to: prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position's qualifications and internal equity.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
