Description

Job Title: Project Manager (Gulf Coast Region) --Construction Project Management Experience Required-- Location: Texas Company Overview: Maddox provides specialized cryogenic and mechanical services for air separation/cryogenic systems, industrial process piping, fabrication, installation, construction, maintenance, confined space rescue for air separation, wastewater/water treatment, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, chemical, and other process industries. MIG is a part of the TransTech family of businesses. TransTech is a leading provider of engineered equipment and solutions for processing, storing, distributing, and utilizing a wide variety of liquids and gases in the energy, renewables, chemical, and industrial end markets. TransTech designs and manufactures ASME pressure vessels, API storage tanks, TEMA heat exchangers, packaged process equipment, reactors, distillation columns, and other custom designed applications. Our design, construction, and field service capabilities include gas processing, storage, and utilization projects in energy, power, industrial, and biogas markets. TransTech has facilities in North Carolina, Texas, Ohio, Oregon, Indiana, and Montana, and field teams supporting North and South America. Job Summary: The Project Manager will work closely with the President of Maddox Industrial Group (MIG) and the TransTech Leadership Team to replicate MIG’s capabilities in the Gulf Coast region, while using our current Beaumont, TX facility as a home base. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: · Live by our safety culture always, pursing our goal of zero accidents. · Manage the workflow for multiple projects simultaneously. · Execute deliverables throughout the lifecycle of projects which include, but not limited to, scope definition, proposal definition, and project execution. · Provide timely updates to customers and key stakeholders. · Manage project schedule, documentation, budgets, and labor hours. · Manage changes to the project scope, schedule and costs. · Work with Foremen/Superintendents to plan, assign, and monitor work responsibilities for field crews, and maintain MIG’s quality standards. · Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. · Report and escalate issues to management as needed. · Work with internal team to source and manage materials and outside contractors as required for projects. · Verify punch list items at project completion and complete turn over package. · Work with the finance team to invoice on a timely basis, process and manage change orders, and assist with collections when necessary. · Performs other duties as assigned Competencies: · 5 years+ experience managing construction projects or 10 years of field experience. · Proven ability to collaborate with other team members, engineers, subcontractors, and customers with minimal oversight. · Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills · Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders · A working knowledge of ASME B31.3/31.1 welding procedures and API guidelines · Construction experience in the Air Separation, Gas Processing, or Energy industries · Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) · After-hours phone availability for field team support. · Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. · Knowledge in Procore, PowerBI, Smartsheet, Salesforce, and ERP systems (preferred) Education: · Four-year degree (preferred engineering or construction management) Travel: · Travel: 25% to 50% Benefits Designed to Work for You: · Free HSA health plan or traditional PPO · 401(k) with generous company match (Safe Harbor) · Dental, vision, and optional coverage like accident & critical illness insurance · HSA and FSA accounts to save on healthcare costs · Company-paid Life, Long Term Disability, and AD&D insurance · Confidential support for mental health, family matters, legal concerns, and more through our Employee Assistance Program · Discounts on gyms, shopping & entertainment · Health benefits kick in fast – first of the month after 30 days Time Off We offer a variety of paid time off options to support rest, wellness, and personal needs: · Paid Time Off · Paid Holidays · Bereavement Leave Job Type: Full-time This organization provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
