You join a community that respects who you are away from work as much as what you do while at work.</p><p></p><p><b>Where Your Career is a Force for Good!</b></p><p></p><p><i><b>WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):</b></i></p><p>Lead the analysis and improvement of business processes, lead the design and implementation of new processes, and contribute to enterprise-wide process improvement projects to improve business performance and meet changing business needs. Provide support, development, and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers. </p><p></p><p><i><b>WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD</b></i> (Key Responsibilities):   </p><ul><li><p>Oversee and coordinate business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses to align solutions with business initiatives and improve processes by understanding and controlling variation.</p></li><li><p>Review proposals for process improvement and gap analyses between current processes and the desired state, design complex new processes, and lead transition planning.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to the business unit process engineering plan and integrate it with the corporate plan.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to large, complex projects that have an enterprise-wide impact and require subject matter expertise in multiple process improvement areas and mastery of process improvement tools.</p></li><li><p>Monitor preparation of functional, system, and program specifications using CASE (Computer-Aided Software Engineering).</p></li><li><p>Participate in continuous review and updates to ensure that processes meet changing business unit conditions to develop short- and long-term system plans.</p></li><li><p>Serve as senior advisor and participant in planning and prioritization for business process engineering-related activities.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><i><b>WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):</b></i></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required.</p></li><li><p>Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.</p></li><li><p>High level of understanding of the organization’s business systems and processes as well as industry-wide requirements.</p></li><li><p>Must demonstrate expertise in strategic planning, tactical execution, project management, process management and business systems requirements definition.</p></li><li><p>Must understand technical problems and solutions in relation to the current, as well as the future business environment.</p></li><li><p>Microsoft Office Suite. Database Applications.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work on a team.</p></li><li><p>Some travel may be required.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><i><b>WHAT WILL GIVE YOU THE COMPETITIVE EDGE (Preferred Qualifications):</b></i>  </p><ul><li><p>Six sigma certification preferred.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>PAY INFORMATION:</b></p><p><b><i><span>The salary range for this position is: $105,000‐$115,000.</span></i></b></p><p><b><i><span>Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed.
