WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): Lead the analysis and improvement of business processes, lead the design and implementation of new processes, and contribute to enterprise-wide process improvement projects to improve business performance and meet changing business needs. Provide support, development, and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities): Oversee and coordinate business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses to align solutions with business initiatives and improve processes by understanding and controlling variation. Review proposals for process improvement and gap analyses between current processes and the desired state, design complex new processes, and lead transition planning. Contribute to the business unit process engineering plan and integrate it with the corporate plan. Contribute to large, complex projects that have an enterprise-wide impact and require subject matter expertise in multiple process improvement areas and mastery of process improvement tools. Monitor preparation of functional, system, and program specifications using CASE (Computer-Aided Software Engineering). Participate in continuous review and updates to ensure that processes meet changing business unit conditions to develop short- and long-term system plans. Serve as senior advisor and participant in planning and prioritization for business process engineering-related activities. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications): Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required. Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. High level of understanding of the organization’s business systems and processes as well as industry-wide requirements. Must demonstrate expertise in strategic planning, tactical execution, project management, process management and business systems requirements definition. Must understand technical problems and solutions in relation to the current, as well as the future business environment. Microsoft Office Suite. Database Applications. Ability to work on a team. Some travel may be required. WHAT WILL GIVE YOU THE COMPETITIVE EDGE (Preferred Qualifications): Six sigma certification preferred. PAY INFORMATION: The salary range for this position is: $105,000‐$115,000. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
