    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">We are seeking a Distribution Specialist is responsible for managing the distribution of Product to all customers. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Development of team members in supporting function.</li><li>Attend weekly meetings as necessary.</li><li>Manage the daily reception of new items and add to Distribution Master by chain upon arrival.</li><li>Manage the daily reception of new POs from DC Customers and schedule POs to ship in a timely manner.</li><li>Manage POs for all DC customers</li><li>Create orders for managed customer shipments and new product distribution &ndash; including Quick Ships.</li><li>Monitor the status of product shipments for high profile or special placement items</li><li>Identify items allocated but not distributed weekly. &nbsp;Communicate issues to Director of Distribution and accountable salesperson.</li><li>Other duties as assigned by management</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Extensive knowledge of products.</li><li>Understanding of the distribution process</li><li>Understanding of plan-o-grams</li><li>Attention to detail an imperative</li><li>Strong organizational skills</li><li>Ability to multi-task and set priorities.</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS</u></strong>: &nbsp; The daily responsibilities of this position constantly require effective talking, hearing, sitting, walking and standing functions. &nbsp;Frequent repetitive motion activities are required. Must be able to read print and computer based materials and to do so with consistent accuracy. &nbsp;Most of these functions require light physical exertion and are conducted in a temperature controlled environment with occasional exposure to hot and cold temperature.</p><p><strong><u>INTELLECTUAL/EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</u></strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong>The occupant of this position must be able to perform the responsibilities of the position well under pressure. &nbsp;The position requires adaptability to performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure. &nbsp;This position requires the ability to manage a number of projects at one time, and may be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of others.
