If you&rsquo;re proficient in Revit, enjoy collaborating with architects and engineers, and are ready to grow your expertise in power and lighting design, this opportunity offers the perfect balance of challenge, mentorship, and professional growth.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Designer will work with Electrical Engineer and/or Electrical Design lead to communicate with client, deliver completed construction documents, and assist in construction administration as required for most project types.</li>\n\t<li>Designer should utilize education and experience to independently develop, implement, and draft construction documents for most project and/or project type (or at least major portions), as well as, solve medium to difficult design challenges that arise on a project or simple projects.</li>\n\t<li>Designer should be able to apply their knowledge of NEC and other national standards to simple projects, with minimal oversight from Electrical Engineer or Electrical Design Team Lead.</li>\n\t<li>Designer should have a basic understanding of energy codes and application to power and lighting design with oversight from Electrical Engineer or Electrical Design lead.</li>\n\t<li>Designer should have a basic understanding of photometric calculations, lighting design, fault current and be able to independently select lighting systems and controls for simple projects.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Job Duties include but are not limited to:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Designer should be proficient in AutoCAD and/or REVIT. Designer should be able to train new employees on company standards, drafting techniques, and answer basic questions on NEC and/or other national standards.</li>\n\t<li>Designer will work in a collaborative environment with Architects and other Engineers to develop construction documents based on a clients&#39; requirements, including performing project management functions, quality control, or other duties as necessary.</li>\n\t<li>Designer should be able to provide a high level of quality control on all their projects and possibly others, for final review by the Electrical Engineer or Electrical Design Lead.</li>\n\t<li>Designer will, in some cases, have some level of direct client contact.</li>\n\t<li>Designer will be able to work within established budgets.
