Vector Fleet provides onsite, customized fleet maintenance solutions for clients in numerous states across the U.S.</p><p>Vector Fleet Management currently has an opening for Heavy Equipment Mechanic to support our customer&rsquo;s fleet located in the MOSAIC facility in Bartow, FL area.</p><p><strong>SUMMARY</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Duties include repairing and maintaining customer vehicles and/or Heavy equipment components such as engines, final drives, tracks, A/C repair and other related mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems on Equipment such as Cat, Komatsu and Volvo by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Perform PMI&#39;s on all types of powered equipment</li><li>Perform selected repairs on equipment involving the summary of components and systems listed above</li><li>Test drive all types of vehicles</li><li>Train and assist other technicians in all of the above areas</li><li>Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work area and environment. Including but not limited to cleaning shop equipment, floors, and fluid containment areas</li><li>Must possess adequate hand tools required to perform routine repairs and maintenance</li><li>Other duties may be assigned</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS&nbsp;</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.</li><li><strong>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS</strong>&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. &nbsp;Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.</li><li><strong>REASONING ABILITY</strong></li><li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
