Role Specification
SS&C is seeking a hands-on Lead Java Engineer who wants to do more than deliver features, someone motivated to lead, influence, and continuously improve how modern software engineering is practiced within a large-scale financial technology environment. The role will be an individual contributor.
SS&C is actively investing in AI-driven and agentic solutions designed to simplify complex financial operations at scale within a global organization delivering mission-critical systems across the financial services industry.
In this role, you will work with high-performing engineering teams building enterprise-grade systems while helping introduce AI-assisted development, automation, and modern engineering practices.
You will operate in a collaborative, low-ego environment where engineers share knowledge and continuously raise the bar. Leadership is supportive and committed to keeping teams modern, effective, and technically strong.
