"description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Title: Electrical QC Inspector </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Open Positions: 1</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Scope Of Work :</span> Electrical Inspection </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location: Elkford, BC </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Start Date:</span> March 30, 2026 or April 6, 2026<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duration:</span> 1 Month</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Shift: </span>14 x 7 Shift</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Accommodation:</span> Accommodation Provided or Camp </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours of Work:</span> 8 to 10 Hours a day</p>\n<p>_____________________________________________________________________</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Scope of Work</span></span></p>\n<p>Quality Control inspection of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform quality control inspections for <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">electrical construction and installation</span> activities</li>\n<li>Inspect electrical work in accordance with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CEC (Canadian Electrical Code), project specifications, IFC drawings, and approved procedures</span></li>\n<li>Verify installation of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">power distribution systems, MCCs, switchgear, transformers, grounding, bonding, and lighting systems</span></li>\n<li>Inspect <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">cable tray installation, cable pulling, terminations, glanding, tagging, and dressing</span></li>\n<li>Review and interpret <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics, layouts, and cable schedules</span></li>\n<li>Ensure proper installation of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">hazardous area (Class I / Zone-rated) electrical equipment</span></li>\n<li>Monitor installation of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">heat tracing, lighting, receptacles, and temporary power systems</span></li>\n<li>Witness and verify electrical testing including <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">megger testing, continuity checks, grounding resistance, and loop checks</span></li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QA/QC procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and defined hold/witness points</span></li>\n<li>Identify non-conformances, issue <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">NCRs</span>, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions</li>\n<li>Review test results, calibration certificates, and electrical turnover documentation</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">inspection records, daily reports, test logs, and turnover dossiers</span></li>\n<li>Coordinate with electrical supervisors, engineers, commissioning teams, and client representatives</li>\n<li>Promote and enforce <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">site safety requirements and electrical safe work practices</span></li>\n<li>Support continuous improvement in electrical quality and inspection processes</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements & Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Electrical QC Inspection Experience – Mandatory</span></li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CEC, CSA standards, and industrial electrical installation practices</span></li>\n<li>Experience with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">high-voltage and low-voltage systems</span></li>\n<li>Familiarity with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">hazardous area classifications and explosion-proof equipment</span></li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation</span></li>\n<li>Strong understanding of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QA/QC systems, ITPs, and turnover documentation</span></li>\n<li>Excellent communication, reporting, and organizational skills</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary project team</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mandatory Safety Certifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>CSTS</li>\n<li>WHMIS</li>\n<li>First Aid</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Additional Information:</span></p>\n<p>This job opening not only provides an excellent opportunity for qualified professionals in Quality Control but also serves as a platform for future opportunities within our company.
