Reporting to the VP, Technology, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day IT operations while designing and implementing AI-driven solutions that enhance business performance. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that blends technical support with innovation, helping to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and scale operations across the organization. The IT &amp; AI Solutions Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation, build practical solutions, and ensure our systems remain efficient, secure, and aligned with business needs.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span>What You'll Be Doing</span><span> </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify and implement AI and automation solutions that improve operational efficiency across departments</li>\n<li>Partner with business leaders to translate operational challenges into practical, technology-enabled solutions</li>\n<li>Ensure all systems and solutions are secure, well-documented, and aligned with company standards</li>\n<li>Support employee onboarding, offboarding, and role changes, including system access and equipment setup</li>\n<li>Assist with business systems support (e.g., ERP/CRM platforms), including troubleshooting, testing, and process improvements<br></li>\n<li>Support infrastructure and technical projects such as hardware rollouts, office expansions, and system implementations</li>\n<li>Proactively improve IT operations by reducing recurring issues through automation, self-service tools, and documentation</li>\n<li>Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support across office locations, including Microsoft 365, devices, and core systems</li>\n<li>Manage the full lifecycle of AI initiatives, from concept and pilot through to deployment and user adoption</li>\n<li>Design, build, and maintain AI tools, workflows, and decision-support solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, and Azure AI</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Other responsibilities as assigned</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span>What You Bring</span><span> </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related program</li>\n<li>Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and end-user technologies</li>\n<li>Exposure to automation tools or AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, or similar technologies</li>\n<li>Minimum one to two (1–2) years of experience in an IT helpdesk or technical support role</li>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li>\n<li>High attention to detail and strong organizational skills</li>\n<li>A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and continuously develop new technical skills<br></li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n<li>Experience working with ticketing systems and prioritizing IT requests</li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment</li>\n<li>Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems (e.g., NetSuite) considered an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span>Accessibility Commitment</span><span> </span></span></p>\n<p><span>At O’Dell HVAC Group, we’re all about building a workplace where everyone can thrive. We’re committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible environment in line with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).</span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>If you need accommodations during the hiring process or on the job, please contact us.
