    "description": "<h2>Our Company</h2>\n<p>Rehab in Motion</p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Rehab In Motion is expanding to Lincolnton, NC!</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Position: Speech Language Pathologist</li>\n <li>Employment Type: PRN </li>\n <li>Location: TerraBella Lincolnton</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> <strong><u>Who we are looking for:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>An experienced SLP, enthusiastic about empowering clients with strength & independence</li>\n <li>You are familiar with Independent Living, Assisted Living, Geriatric and/or Outpatient settings </li>\n <li>You value flexibility, autonomy and providing personalized one-on-one care</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>What you will receive:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Flexible Hours- Create your own schedule</li>\n <li>Clinical Autonomy</li>\n <li>Provide 1:1 Patient Care</li>\n <li>Competitive Pay </li>\n <li>Professional Growth Opportunities</li>\n <li>Supportive Leadership & Team Environment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>What you will do: </u></strong>Responsibilities listed include but not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans of patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders </li>\n <li>Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences</li>\n <li>Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for safety, and provide referral and education resources </li>\n <li>Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members</li>\n <li>Communicates with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>What you will need:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program  </li>\n <li>Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice  </li>\n <li>Current Live CPR Certification</li>\n <li>Two-step TB skin test required</li>\n <li>Proof of Auto Insurance</li>\n <li>A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred</li>\n <li>Demonstrates knowledge of evidenced based therapy interventions</li>\n <li>Familiarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics and/or home health</li>\n <li>Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions</li>\n <li>Ability to lift 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures</li>\n <li>Duties require fine motor skills,visual acuity, and walking/ standing for extended periods</li>\n <li>Additional physical requirements include:pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times</li>\n <li>A health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on specific location policy, local and state regulations to verify employee is physically capable of performing assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodations</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About our Line of Business</h2>Rehab in Motion, an affiliate of Rehab Without Walls, is devoted to elevating the physical and emotional wellbeing of older adults through physical, occupational and speech therapies.
