NASA Ames Simulation Laboratories (SimLabs) at NASA Ames Research Center consists of the Vertical Motion Simulator (VMS), with a 60 ft. vertical motion system and interchangeable cabs, which can be customized to simulate any aerospace vehicle; and Future Flight Central (FFC), an Air Traffic Control/Air Traffic Management (ATC/ATM) simulation facility dedicated to solving present and emerging capacity problems of the nation&#39;s airports. The team also administers multiple on-premise and cloud systems that support ongoing software development and air traffic management research projects.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><br></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'>This position is NOT eligible for remote work. All work will be performed at NASA Ames Research Center. Must meet eligibility requirements for a US Government Public Trust Clearance.</p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><br></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0in;\" type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\">Serve as the hands-on lead of a small team of experienced systems administrators at NASA Ames and the NASA/FAA North Texas Research Station (NTX)</li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\">Manage IT projects from planning to include requirements definition/review, cost estimates and scheduling, through implementation</li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\">Supervise day-to-day activities of staff, including prioritization of tasks to meet customer requirements</li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\">Perform IT security plan management, administration, and compliance.
