The Engineer will be working in a dynamic team environment building reusable SaaS components to ingest various types of data into a cloud environment using ETL tools.</p><p><br /><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br />•\tBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.<br />•\t5+ years of related software development experience.<br />•\t3+ years’ experience with implementation of large enterprise systems or distributed computing environment<br />•\t7+ years in Java, C# is a plus but not required.<br />•\tProficiency in Java, Spring, JPA and Hibernate.<br />•\tProficiency in RDBMS including SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle.<br />•\tProven track record of designing scalable, distributed software applications.<br />•\tObject-oriented design and programming experience.<br />•\tProficiency in ETL development using tools such as Pentaho.<br />•\tExperience in solving big-data problems using Open Source technologies such as Hadoop and HBase on a cloud platform.<br />•\tExperience using COTS products to integrate systems at an enterprise level.<br />•\tFamiliarity in UI front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. <br />•\tExperience in building business workflows using Business Process Management tools using Activiti, jbpm, and Alfresco.<br /><br />Clearance: Prefer Candidates possess a Department of Defense SECRET security clearance.
