The position will report directly to the Nashville Aviation department lead or an Aviation Engineer and will involve planning, design and construction engineering for airports and other transportation projects.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>The role will include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Geometric layout of roadways, parking lots and airfield facilities</span></li>\n <li><span>Drainage design to support airfield, roadway and parking lot projects</span></li>\n <li><span>Civil / site design to support airport building structures</span></li>\n <li><span>Preparation of technical specifications for landside and airside projects</span></li>\n <li><span>Preparation of construction cost estimates</span></li>\n <li><span>Writing engineer’s reports</span></li>\n <li><span>Developing graphics for client presentations</span></li>\n <li><span>Performing construction engineering services including shop drawing review, responses to contractor questions and periodic construction site visits.</span></li>\n <li><span>The candidate should be a motivated self-starter who displays a passion for solving problems, interacting in a team environment, and meeting established deadlines.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology</span></li>\n <li><span>2+ years experience under a registered professional&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Aviation and/or Transportation/Site Development Engineering background preferred but not required</span></li>\n <li><span>Engineer-in-Training preferred</span></li>\n <li><span>AutoCAD experience, preferably with Civil 3D experience</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>COMPENSATION</strong>&nbsp;</span><br><span>The approximate compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $109,841.&nbsp; This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.&nbsp; Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.</span></p>\n<p><strong>BENEFITS</strong><br>\n  We offer a comprehensive benefits package including:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, dental, vision insurance</li>\n <li>401k Retirement Plan</li>\n <li>Health Savings Account (HSA)</li>\n <li>Flexible Spending Account (FSA)</li>\n <li>Life, AD&amp;D, short-term, and long-term disability</li>\n <li>Professional and personal development</li>\n <li>Generous paid time off</li>\n <li>Commuter and wellness benefits</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>#LI-HYBRID #LI-KR1</p>",
