    "description": "<p>As a Principal DevOps Engineer, you will be a technical leader responsible for shaping the strategic direction of our DevOps practices. You will architect and implement advanced solutions, providing guidance to senior and junior engineers, and driving innovation in our development and operations processes. Your contribution will play a pivotal role in shaping Outseer's DevOps practices, significantly influencing the organization's overall success through the delivery of top-tier software and the maintenance of reliable systems.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).</li>\n<li>Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines into their workflows.</li>\n<li>Configure and maintain CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions).</li>\n<li>Monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment processes.</li>\n<li>Contribute to the development and maintenance of infrastructure templates using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation.</li>\n<li>Setup &amp; Maintenance of monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Elk stack).</li>\n<li>Establish alerting thresholds and notifications for critical systems.</li>\n<li>Implementation of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).</li>\n<li>Deployment and management of container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).</li>\n<li>Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper usage of version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce).</li>\n<li>Provide support for branching, merging, and code review processes.</li>\n<li>Assist in the implementation of security best practices for infrastructure and applications.</li>\n<li>Contribute to compliance efforts (e.g., SOC2, PCI) by ensuring necessary controls are in place.</li>\n<li>Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.</li>\n<li>Document processes, configurations, and best practices.</li>\n<li>Lead incident response efforts during critical outages, ensuring rapid resolution and conducting thorough root cause analyses.</li>\n<li>Implement and establish best practices, audit others work, and manage increasingly complex issues.</li>\n<li>Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior DevOps team members.</li>\n<li>Conduct capacity planning exercises and performance profiling to ensure optimal resource utilization.</li>\n<li>Implement optimizations to improve system and application performance.</li>\n<li>Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to team skill development.</li>\n<li>Actively participates in architectural deliberations, the formulation of design, and the execution of advanced automation frameworks.</li>\n<li>Crafting systems that boast high availability and fault tolerance, and adeptly resolving intricate technical challenges.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate adept leadership, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities alongside their robust technical prowess.</li>\n<li>Expert level knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).</li>\n<li>Continuous improvement and automation using any of the scripting language (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python).</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desired Requirements </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br>8+ years’ experience with DevOps.<br></li>\n<li>BE/MCA degree in computer science or other related fields.</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.</li>\n<li>Mastery of CI/CD tools and practices.</li>\n<li><br>Hands of experience with Jira and Agile methodologies; includes epics, features, stories and daily standups with scrums.<br></li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</li>\n<li>Strong communication and collaboration skills.</li>\n<li>Deploying &amp; managing distributed Windows environments and custom applications.</li>\n<li>Deploying &amp; managing Azure resources including automation and deployment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desired Behaviors</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Change Facilitation: </span>Encourages and supports continuous improvement of work practices and processes.
