Terminate inside plant FDP end points</span>&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Times New Roman;\">Perform ring cuts, butt-splices, enter splice cases on live fiber without affecting existing services.</span>&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Times New Roman;\">Perform fiber tests with OTDR&rsquo;s, light source and meters.</span>&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Times New Roman;\">Provide accurate equipment location, splicing and terminating records for the fiber database and interpret engineering provided drawings.</span>&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Times New Roman;\">Monitor, communicate and perform corrective actions to fix problems affecting any fiber or fiber related equipment.</span>&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Times New Roman;\">Install/replace enclosures and other fiber related telecom equipment as required or instructed.</span>&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Times New Roman;\">Must have experience using and calibrating the following equipment: fusion splicer, mechanical splicer, OTDR, power meters, traffic identifiers, digital multi-meters, cleavers, strippers, buffer tube splitters, cable ring tools, hand tools, toners, duct rodders, ladders, bucket trucks, etc.</span>&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Times New Roman;\">Must possess prior knowledge of OSP and ISP network design and infrastructure principles</span>&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Times New Roman;\">Must possess the ability to interpret plans, drawings, diagrams, and be able to correctly identify and record OSP as-built fiber routes.</span>&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Times New Roman;\">Must be able to maintain accurate records and input data into software programs used for information storage and retrieval&nbsp;</span></li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Times New Roman;\">(database entry).</span> &nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><strong>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE</strong></span>&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Symbol;\">&middot;</span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Times New Roman;\">High school diploma, or equivalent&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Symbol;\">&middot;</span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Times New Roman;\">Candidate must be experienced in modern Fiber Splicing Techniques for the Telecommunications Industry, FOC or FIberOptic.com Certification a plus</span>&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;font-family: Symbol;\">&middot;</span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Times New Roman;\">2 years Fiber optic field splicing experience and test equipment</span> &nbsp;</p><ul><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Times New Roman;\">2 years&rsquo; experience and demonstrated OSHA certification for operating bucket truck capable of reaching 40&rsquo;</span>&nbsp;</li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Times New Roman;\">Valid Texas Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License (CDL)&nbsp;</span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Times New Roman;\">required.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Times New Roman;\">Clean Drivers Record</span>&nbsp;</li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Times New Roman;\">Must complete I-9 E-verify form; pass a drug screen; pass a background check and complete a new hire orientation</span></li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
