This is a very flexible role, and we will consider any hours you can work in the evenings and/or weekends. Immediate start date.</span></span></p>\n<p><span><br></span></p>\n<p><span><span>This position is ideal for an independent </span><span>Podiatrist</span><span> who values autonomy, clinical variety, and the ability to support patients in a face-to-face </span><span>environment.</span></span><br></p>\n<p><span><br></span></p>\n<p><span><span>If this sounds like an opportunity </span><span>you’re</span><span> interested in, then take </span><span>a read through</span><span> the roles and responsibilities and hit apply below.</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><br></span></p>\n<p><span><span>We would love to hear from you!</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><br></span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>What is the role and what are your responsibilities?</span></span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Treat a variety of skin ailments such as verruca’s, corns, calluses, etc.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Assess and treat ingrown toenails, clipping </span><span>toenails</span><span> and general feet tidy up</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Treat patients with diabetes at increased risk of foot disease who require preventative care and </span><span>assistance</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Determine</span><span> the condition of a patient’s feet, ankles, or lower legs by reviewing his or her medical history, listening to the patient’s concerns, and performing a physical examination</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Diagnose foot, ankle, and lower-leg problems through physical exams, and other methods</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Provide treatment for foot, ankle, and lower leg ailments, such as prescribing special shoe inserts (orthotics) to improve and correct foot and ankle deformities</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Give advice and instruction on foot and ankle care and on general wellness techniques</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Educate patients on how to improve and/or improve conditions</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Liaise with other healthcare professionals, such as GP’s, </span><span>Physios</span><span> and other members of multi-disciplinary teams, to exchange information about the background and progress of patients and Refer patients to other physicians or specialists if they detect larger health problems, such as diabetes</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Meet continuous education requirements and </span><span>maintain</span><span> an up-to-date CPD folder</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>Write patient case notes and reports and collect statistics;
