Unleashing Your Potential! </li>\n <li>Competitive Compensation, Health Benefits, & a generous flexible medical / Health spending account</li>\n <li>RRSP matching program at 4%</li>\n <li>Discount program that covers almost everything under the sun - Restaurants, gyms, shopping etc.</li>\n <li>A culture of continuous learning by investing in training, professional development, and tuition reimbursement for all team members</li>\n <li>Supportive work environment with the highest cleanliness and safety standards</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Primary Responsibilities</u></strong><u></u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Modify, repair, install, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot various types of machinery, equipment and facilities in the processing & packaging departments</li>\n <li>Diagnose mechanical problems, provide quick & innovative solutions for mechanical equipment breakdowns by applying proven skills in the principles of mechanics, fitting, plumbing, basic welding, metal fabrication, machining, troubleshooting, and analytical problem solving</li>\n <li>Operates drill press, grinder, saws, and all other machine shop tools</li>\n <li>Setup, takedown, and relocation of Bakery and Packaging equipment</li>\n <li>Perform preventative maintenance, and safety inspections</li>\n <li>Provide solution to routine or unique equipment problems</li>\n <li>Promptly respond to equipment related issues with customer oriented manner</li>\n <li>Equipment PM (Preventive Maintenance) – responsible for maintaining equipment in safe working condition, lubricating necessary parts, changing worn out or damaged parts</li>\n <li>Equipment (Production) – helps production setup the equipment on the line and troubleshoot/repair equipment during shift.</li>\n <li>Shop House Keeping - responsible for maintaining maintenance shop and tool box organized and clean</li>\n <li>Filling Out Shift Report – responsible for filling out electronically the shift report in specific issue’s or tasks completed during shift. </li>\n <li>Ordering Parts – Responsible for ordering parts that get used and helping the Maintenance Planner maintain shop inventory </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Required Experience</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Millwright License or equivalent experience</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Minimum 2 years mechanical experience in a high-speed packaging and/or manufacturing environment (food industry is highly preferred)</strong></li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li>\n <li>Knowledge of Health & Safety and Lockout Procedures is an asset</li>\n <li>Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs is an asset</li>\n <li>Mechanical training or experience is preferred </li>\n <li>Committed to working towards a Mechanical Certification</li>\n <li>Must have a valid driver’s license</li>\n <li>Passionate about mechanical repair</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What is the recipe for a great career at FGF?</strong><strong><u></u></strong><u></u>Working at FGF Brands, there is never a dull moment!
