You are responsible for the clinical, operational, administrative, staffing and financial management of the hospital pharmacy.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Correctly preparing all drugs and chemicals.</li>\n <li>Ensuring compliance with standards of The Joint Commission, CMS and other regulatory bodies.</li>\n <li>Managing and administering the Adverse Drug Reaction Program.</li>\n <li>Developing and participating in new employee training and education programs.</li>\n <li>Participating in quality assurance programs related to drug utilization and effectiveness.</li>\n <li>Participating in patient drug therapy monitoring.</li>\n <li>Develops at least one (1) clinically oriented program a year. These may include but are not limited to: Pharmacokinetic Dosing Service, Patient Counseling, Pain Management Services, or Nutritional Support Service.</li>\n <li>Promoting an environment of continuous quality improvement.</li>\n <li>Teaching and counseling patients and their families.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Minimum Requirements: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.</li>\n <li>A minimum of three (3) years of hospital experience within the last 5 years.</li>\n <li>BLS if required by State.</li>\n <li>Must maintain a current license in the state of practice.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred qualifications that will make you successful:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency is preferred.</li>\n <li>One (1) year in a managerial role preferred.</li>\n <li>Prefer Board Certification and/or Residency.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Data</h2>\n<p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans</em></p>",
