Position Overview
Bayswater Vancouver is seeking a dedicated and student-centered professional to coordinate our student services and accommodation programs , including homestay and residence.
This role is critical to ensuring an exceptional student journey—from arrival through departure—by overseeing accommodation placements, coordinating logistics, and supporting student wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Accommodation Program Oversight
Manage and coordinate student placements in homestay and residence accommodations
Maintain strong relationships with homestay families and residence partners
Ensure quality standards, safety, and student satisfaction across all accommodation options
Monitor placements and resolve accommodation-related issues promptly
Student Arrival & Experience
Coordinate airport pick-up and drop-off services
Manage arrival schedules and communicate details with students, agents, and service providers
Support student onboarding and orientation processes
Student Support & Services
Act as a key point of contact for student concerns, issues, and wellbeing
Resolve complaints professionally and in a timely manner
Work collaboratively with the academic and operations teams to ensure a high-quality student experience
Promote a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment
Insurance & Administration
Enroll students in health insurance programs and maintain accurate records
Assist students with insurance-related inquiries and claims
Ensure processes meet compliance and regulatory requirements
Group Bookings
Support the coordination of group bookings , including accommodation, transportation, and logistics
Liaise with agents and internal teams to deliver seamless group experiences
Emergency Support
Participate in a rotating 24/7 emergency contact schedule
Respond to urgent student matters and escalate when necessary
Qualifications & Experience
Post-secondary education in Hospitality, Business, Education, or related field
2–5 years’ experience in student services, accommodation, or international education
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience working with international students and cross-cultural environments
Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in high-pressure situations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student management systems
