The&nbsp;duties of a construction manager will vary, however, this role can expect to be responsible for&nbsp;daily scheduling, supervising all construction related activities and tasks, and ensuring the&nbsp;safety and compliance of the site.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\nReports To: Director of Construction Management<br />\r\nDepartment: OSP Construction<br />\r\nJob Status: Exempt</p>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\nResponsibilities:</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Leading and managing the on-site construction resources - both internal and&nbsp;external</li>\r\n\t<li>Communicate daily with relevant project managers regarding progress on&nbsp;assigned sites</li>\r\n\t<li>Coordinating and overseeing all work on site</li>\r\n\t<li>Attending construction meetings</li>\r\n\t<li>Communicate with the public as necessary regarding construction concerns&nbsp;pertaining to their property (i.e. lawn damage)</li>\r\n\t<li>Walk potential construction sites to ensure the feasibility of fiber designs and&nbsp;identify possible challenges</li>\r\n\t<li>Tracking project progress in project management tools as appropriate.</li>\r\n\t<li>Reviewing and becoming familiar with the schedule and budget, and ensuring&nbsp;adherence to these</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensuring quality standards are met</li>\r\n\t<li>In cooperation with purchasing team, ensuring adequate quantities and timing of&nbsp;necessary equipment and materials, and being responsible for said equipment&nbsp;and materials on site</li>\r\n\t<li>Following the project timeline to ensure deadlines are met</li>\r\n\t<li>Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness and orderliness</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintaining records for site personnel</li>\r\n\t<li>Liaising with inspection authorities regarding approvals</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
