The Storage Architect will manage design, decision-making, and delivery across several projects simultaneously while serving as a trusted technical partner to customers and internal teams.</p><p>This is not a task-driven role&#8212;success is measured by <strong>outcomes</strong>, not activity. The ideal candidate is adaptable, communicates clearly, and understands how to apply practical solutions using an 80/20 mindset to drive results efficiently.</p><hr><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Own the end-to-end design, execution, and delivery of storage architecture initiatives across <strong>4&#8211;6 active projects per month</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Serve as the primary technical owner for storage outcomes, from requirements through implementation and stabilization.</p></li><li><p>Architect, evaluate, and evolve storage solutions in a rapidly changing environment, including frequent platform updates and growth.</p></li><li><p>Act as a customer-facing technical lead, clearly communicating design decisions, tradeoffs, and recommendations.</p></li><li><p>Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and changing requirements while maintaining delivery timelines.</p></li><li><p>Partner with offshore teams that handle after-hours operations, ensuring continuity and quality of execution.</p></li><li><p>Balance speed and quality, applying pragmatic decision-making to avoid over-engineering and diminishing returns.</p></li><li><p>Provide guidance and technical leadership without micromanagement, operating as a trusted expert.</p></li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li><p>8+ years of experience in enterprise storage engineering or architecture roles.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience owning and delivering storage projects independently.</p></li><li><p>Strong background designing and supporting modern enterprise storage platforms (Pure Storage experience strongly preferred).</p></li><li><p>Experience managing multiple parallel initiatives in fast-moving environments.</p></li><li><p>Strong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated ability to take ownership, make decisions, and be accountable for outcomes.</p></li><li><p>Comfortable working in environments with frequent change and growth.</p></li></ul><hr><h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Prior experience in high-growth or evolving storage environments.</p></li><li><p>Experience transitioning from contract to long-term or full-time roles.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure environments and operational handoffs.</p></li><li><p>Background working with globally distributed teams.</p></li></ul>",
