We are seeking a dependable and detail oriented Mechanic Associate to join our production support team. The Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various boat engines, mechanical systems, and related components. You will work closely with customers to ensure their boats are operating safely and efficiently. If you have a passion for marine mechanics and enjoy working in a dynamic and hands-on environment, we want to hear from you. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems on a variety of boats, including outboard motors, inboard motors, and her marine engines. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on engines, propellers, fuel systems, electrical systems, and other boat components. Conduct troubleshooting to identify issues with performance, leaks, overheating, electrical failures, or other mechanical problems. Replace or repair faulty components, such as engines, pumps, alternators, and transmission systems. Perform boat winterization and de-winterization to ensure the vessel is protected during off-season months. Install, maintain, and repair marine systems, including navigation equipment, lighting, and other onboard electronics. Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards. Stay up to date with advancements in boat engine technology and marine systems.
