    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>Responsible for actively contributing to the development of prototype products through CNC programming, machining, assembly, and inspection processes within The Prototype Garage (TPG). This includes programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment to produce high-quality products meeting specifications.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate closely with Quoting Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, and CNC Programmers to ensure planned, efficient, and accurate execution of TPG tasks.</li><li>Execute CNC programming, setup, and operation of metalworking and cutting equipment to produce components according to specifications.</li><li>Support the assembly of prototype products, contributing to testing and ensuring compliance with quality standards.</li><li>Participate in designing and fabricating fixtures for machining, inspection, and assembly processes, actively engaging in problem-solving and optimization efforts.</li><li>Provide valuable input and feedback on initiatives within the TPG, enhancing workflow efficiency and product quality.</li><li>Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces on machines using precision measuring instruments.</li><li>Review program or blueprints to set machine operations, sequencing, and finished workpiece dimensions.</li><li>Select appropriate tools, machines, and materials for machining work.</li><li>Transfer commands to CNC modules from servers using computer network links.</li><li>Calculate machine speed, feed ratios, and cutting parameters.</li><li>Monitor machine operations and compare readings to specifications to detect and address issues.</li><li>Adjust machine settings, change tools, or control media as needed.</li><li>Support preventative maintenance of CNC equipment.</li><li>Set up future jobs while machines are operating.</li><li>Perform part inspection using precision measuring instruments and optical comparators.</li><li>Communicate with personnel across departments to exchange information and troubleshoot issues.</li><li>Meet established standards for scrap, indirect labor, and production efficiency.</li><li>Properly document all production data in the ERP system and required paperwork.</li><li>Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA requirements in documentation.</li></ul><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Competencies:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>3+ years of experience in CNC setup of Milling &amp; Turning equipment.</li><li>Advanced knowledge and understanding of G&amp;M code. &nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of basic machine programming. &nbsp;Advanced programming knowledge desired.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints, with knowledge and understanding of GD&amp;T.</li><li>Proficient in machine shop math.</li><li>Proficient in the use of all machine shop precision measuring equipment including micrometer, caliper, optical compactor and vision machines. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of raw materials, production processes and quality control.</li><li>Ability to maintain a sense of urgency, handle stressful situations, multitask and ability to prioritize work.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work autonomously, as well as, in a team environment. &nbsp;</li><li>Ability to communicate and interact effectively, professionally and constructively.</li><li>Knowledge and experience with of other CNC equipment and tooling desired.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in ISO/FDA environment preferred.</li><li>Ability to be highly accurate with a high attention to detail.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve machining, quality and other issues.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>Ability to read and comprehend work instructions.</p></div>\n",
