Description
SynergenX Health is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Credentialing Administra ti ve Assistant to support our growing credentialing department at our corporate office in Northwest Houston . This role is ideal for an administrative professional who thrives in a structured, fast-paced healthcare environment and takes pride in accuracy and compliance.

Position Summary The Credentialing Administrative Assistant provides essential support to the credentialing team by maintaining provider documentation, tracking compliance requirements, and assisting with credentialing processes. This role helps ensure that providers meet regulatory and payer requirements so they can deliver uninterrupted patient care.
Key Responsibilities Assist with preparation and submission of provider credentialing and recredentialing applications
Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider files, both electronic and physical
Track and monitor expiration dates for licenses, DEA registrations, certifications, and malpractice coverage
Upload and maintain documentation in credentialing software and online portals such as CAQH
Follow up with providers and internal teams regarding missing or expiring documents
Support communication with third-party credentialing and enrollment vendors
Ensure provider demographic and practice location information is current with payers and regulatory agencies
Prepare files and documentation for audits and internal quality reviews
Provide general administrative support to the credentialing department as needed
Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of healthcare administrative experience preferred
Exposure to provider credentialing, licensing, or medical staff services strongly preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with credentialing software, CAQH, or DocuSign is a plus
Professional written and verbal communication skills
