This role is responsible for supporting core export control processes, including Business Partner screening, product screening, End-Use screening, ECCN-related activities, license management, and shipment block reviews.</p><p>The role partners closely with cross-functional teams to help ensure effective and sustainable compliance processes, maintain data quality, support audits and assessments, and drive continuous improvement in export control operations.</p><p><b><u>Key Responsibilities</u></b></p><p>Provide operational support to countries in Asia Pacific and the U.S. on export control matters, including: - Business Partner screening, including sanctions and restricted party screening</p><p>Product screening and ECCN-related support</p><p>Support compliance risk assessments and contribute to the development and implementation of policies, standards, procedures, and job aids to enable sustainable compliance across the region.</p><p>Serve as a subject matter resource on Business Partner screening, product screening, and End-Use screening processes.</p><p>Partner with peers and cross-functional stakeholders to drive operational excellence in: </p><p>License management</p><p>Shipment block review and resolution</p><p>Process execution and controls</p><p>Data quality and process improvement</p><p>Maintain trade and regulatory data standards, procedures, and process documentation.</p><p>Help ensure business process functionality and export control/ECCN data quality are maintained.</p><p>Respond to internal and external inquiries request regarding export control data, audits, and compliance reviews.</p><p>Support internal and external audits, both domestic and international, related to export control compliance.</p><p>Conduct annual reviews of business unit processes, controls, activities, and data to assess overall compliance effectiveness.</p><p>Collaborate with Legal Counsel, business teams, Regional Compliance Managers, and other stakeholders to address screening, export control matters and ECCN-related questions, issues, and escalations.</p><p>Lead or support continuous improvement efforts related to Business Partner screening, ECCN processes, and compliance controls.</p><p>Provide support in managing challenges raised by customs or regulatory agencies related to ECCN classifications.</p><p></p><p><b><u>Basic Qualifications</u></b></p><p>Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field</p><p>Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Trade Compliance, Export Controls, or a related area</p><p>Ability to work effectively in a regional role aligned to Singapore time zone</p><p>Fluency in English to support collaboration with stakeholders in the China market</p><p><b><u>Skills</u></b></p><p>Basic knowledge of Export Controls, especially in BIS Entity Lists and OFAC designations is a plus.</p><p>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and regions</p><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables, with the ability to analyze large data sets</p><p></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p>Learn more about 3M’s creative solutions to the world’s problems at www.3M.com or on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn @3M.<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p>Safety is a core value at 3M.
