    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>DEPARTMENT:</strong> Anodizing</p><p><strong>JOB TITLE:&nbsp;</strong>1st Shift Racker<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>REPORTS TO:</strong> Shift Supervisor with directions from a Team Leader</p><p><strong>SHIFT MID-DAY/HOURS:</strong>&nbsp; 7 a.m. to 3 p.m&nbsp;</p><p><strong>STARTING PAY: &nbsp;</strong>Starting pay is $17.51 per hour, with potential to earn more.</p><p>40+ hours per week over the course of 5 days, with occasional mandatory Saturday for OT.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This entry-level position works in the Anodizing Department and is responsible for affixing aluminum pieces of varied sizes onto titanium metal anodizing racks.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;What You Will Be Responsible For:</strong></p><ul><li>Examines articles for defects and sorts of articles according to extent of defect.</li><li>Rackers work side by side on a line, with no more than an arm’s length between them.</li><li>Frequently lift and carry boxes of parts weighing no more than thirty pounds.</li><li>Differentiate between varied sizes, shapes, and styles of pieces.</li><li>Comply with safety policies and procedures.</li><li>Wear the required personal protective equipment.</li><li>Accepts feedback from the Team Leader to ensure the loads are up to safety standards.</li><li>Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</strong></p><ul><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.&nbsp;</li><li>The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.</li><li>The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds (25lbs), frequently lift and/or move up to thirty pounds (30lbs) occasionally.</li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.</li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee continually works near moving mechanical parts.&nbsp;</li><li>The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and always without air conditioning.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul><li>HS Diploma/GED preferred, not required.</li><li>Prior anodizing and/or metal experience a plus.</li></ul><p><strong>COMPENSATION:</strong></p><ul><li>Paid Vacation</li><li>Medical</li><li>Dental</li><li>Life</li><li>Matched 401K</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p>",
