    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Shimmick is seeking a talented <strong>Concrete Superintendent </strong>to be based in the greater San Francisco area. We work hard together—and with our clients—to deliver high-quality projects that are on time, on budget and beyond expectations.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide overall on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects. </li>\n <li>Responsible for the organization and direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project. </li>\n <li>May be the primary client contact for all jobsite day to day activities, or may coordinate with client’s resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned area of operations. </li>\n <li>Responsibilities are to ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards. Interfaces with all other administrative field staff, field management staff and particularly the Project Manager in a coordinated effort.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Minimum Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalent of experience and education. </li>\n <li>Heavy civil construction project experience involving concrete structures, box culverts, pump stations, water resource/conveyance structures, tunnels, inlets/outets, or similar.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current OSHA 10</li>\n <li>Must be detail oriented, thorough, well organized and effectively manage time</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a high-paced environment with a sense of urgency</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills – ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Acubid, Hard Dollar, or similar software</li>\n <li>Excel experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Additional Information:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.</li>\n <li>This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The salary range for this position is between $180,000 - $220,000 per year depending on experience and/or education. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Shimmick offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and financial future.
