This technologist is</p><p>a vital member of the Diagnostic Imaging department who is accountable to the&nbsp;</p><p>Imaging Director for working to meet the needs of customers/patients in the continuous&nbsp;</p><p>pursuit of cost effective and high quality health care.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><u>JOB QUALIFICATIONS:</u></p><p><u>&nbsp;</u></p><p>Experience: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Previous experience as a Radiological Technologist</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Education: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Req. Cert./ &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology</p><p>Registration &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;CPR certified</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Must be licensed by the State of Kansas to perform Radiography</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Must maintain continuing education requirements per ARRT</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;requirements. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><u>JOB DUTIES</u> (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)</p><p><u>&nbsp;</u></p><ol><li>Carriers out directives in a positive manner and accepts responsibility for follow-up.</li><li>Assists in maintaining adequate supplies in the department.&nbsp;</li><li>Takes quality radiographs as directed by practitioner.<ol><li>Aids and assists practitioners in techniques that require technical assistance.</li><li>Operates the CT scanner efficiently.&nbsp;</li></ol></li><li>Works scheduled hours yet is flexible with the schedule to meet the needs of the department.&nbsp;</li><li>Assists in maintaining the department&rsquo;s QI requirements</li><li>Maintains proper safety precautions for patients and staff.&nbsp;</li><li>Assists in scheduling patients for the department, both in-house and mobile services.&nbsp;</li><li>Assists in charging the patient, and ensuring that this is done correctly.&nbsp;</li><li>Assists in maintaining equipment and processor.</li><li>Assists in maintaining the department&rsquo;s filing system, including the purging of out-dated films and shredding of papers, when indicated.&nbsp;</li><li>Assists in maintaining the department&rsquo;s filing system, including the purging of out-dated films and shredding of papers, when indicated.&nbsp;</li><li>Performs all other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor</li><li>Ensures for an effective, reliable consistent flow of information to and from other departments of the facility.&nbsp;</li><li>Positively promotes NVCH throughout the facility and the community.&nbsp;</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
