About the SUCCESS Multi-Level Care Society Founded in 1995, the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Multi-Level Care Society was incorporated to establish linguistically and culturally appropriate care for seniors in our community. Our mission is to care for seniors as if they were our own family by providing a continuum of excellent, culturally sensitive services. Today, we are a leading provider of quality residential care and health services. POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director, Community Services (DCS), the Assistant Manager of Community Services is responsible for the overall coordination and management of the Adult Day Program (ADP). This position will also assist in supporting the Assisted Living Program as required. The successful candidate will support the organization’s vision and mission, working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to provide problem-solving and person-centered care for clients and their families. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Program Management Operational Oversight: Establish and maintain high-quality service standards at the ADP. Clinical Supervision: Assess client needs, supervise service delivery, and act as a clinical resource for staff Assists in nursing role in the Assisted Living Program is needed Quality Improvement: Monitor client records, evaluate work processes, and assist the DCS in revising policies to ensure customer-driven care. Stakeholder Relations: Maintain professional relationships with funders, health care organizations, and the public to enhance service quality. Facility Coverage: Assist the DCS in overseeing the Assisted Living Program during the DCS’ absence. Staff Management & Development Recruitment: Collaborate with Human Resources to interview and select new team members. Performance Management: Conduct employee appraisals, investigate staff issues, and initiate disciplinary actions or grievance management when necessary. Resource Allocation: Coordinate staffing levels and ensure the efficient use of material resources. Education: Facilitate student placements and support advanced clinical research within the program. REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Nursing Practicing RN / RPN membership with the British Columbia College of Nurse & Midwives (BCCNM) Three (3) years of recent, related clinical experience, including at least one (1) year in a leadership capacity. Strong planning & organizational, problem solving & decision making and time management skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in Chinese (written and spoken) is considered a strong asset.
